The Sorbus Breakfast Business Networking Group is an effective breakfast networking group for small to medium sized businesses. The informal monthly meetings offer the opportunity to meet like-minded professionals and fellow business owners from across South Essex.

Our aim is to facilitate and encourage attendees to build long-lasting rewarding relationships that will benefit their businesses, helping each other to grow and prosper for the future.

Our Story

Originally known as the Westcliff Breakfast Business Networking Group, we held our first meeting in 2007 and moved to our current woodland location back in 2019.

Regular attendees include both business owners and employee representatives of larger organisations from a wide cross-section of industries.

There is no expensive membership. You simply pay for the meetings you attend. All monies go to Essex Wildlife Trust.

We always encourage anyone thinking of attending to pop along and see for themselves if they feel that Sorbus would be a good fit for their business.

You are welcome regardless of whatever stage you are at with your business, whether still in the planning stages, have only recently started trading or alternatively you may be a well-established company seeking a new local networking group.

It’s not always new clients that attendees want to meet. You may be hoping to find specialist trades and professions to work alongside too and this is a great way to get to know the people behind those businesses.

Car Parking
There is ample FREE parking near to the visitor centre.

Attendees arriving before 7.30am
Please use the 20 or so spaces to the right of the track/road as you drive up. If full, turn round and drive back to the main road to park on Eastwood Road North. Turn left as you exit the track where you will find plenty more parking spaces.

Attendees arriving later
If you arrive later, it is advisable to simply park on Eastwood Road North adjacent to the park where there are no restrictions. Alternatively there is a free car park behind The Inn at Belfairs. Simply use the footpath to walk through the woods from there to Belfairs Woodland Centre.

Either way is only a short 2 minute walk.
